Laurie Daniel picks our 2007 Larner Vineyard Syrah!
Laurie Daniel has been a journalist for over 30 years and has written about wine since 1993. Her weekly wine column is published in several California newspapers, including The San Jose Mercury News, and her work has appeared in magazines such as Food and Wine, Wine Country Living, and Wine Enthusiast. Laurie picked our 2007 Larner Vineyard Mourvedre as one of her favorite single-varietal Mourvedres because of, "it's lively, juicy berry and medium tannins".

2007 Phantom Rivers Zinfandel ~ This Paso Robles wine has that bright, brambly berry fruit that has become all too rare in an era of super-ripe zins. It's well-balanced and easy to drink, with medium tannins.
